BALTIMORE, MD, NOVEMBER 9, 2021 – René Carter, Senior Account Executive at Unlimited Restoration, Inc., has been nominated as a finalist for the CREWBaltimore 2021 Crew Beacon Awards Gala Circle of Excellence award.
The Circle of Excellence award honors a person in the Baltimore commercial real estate community who consistently embodies the CREWBaltimore mission and core values related to Leadership, Excellence, Influence, Advancement, and Community.
The annual cohort of Circle of Excellence award finalists are nominated by their peers from the CREWBaltimore organization. Theresa Tsamoutalis, of ALLSAFE Elevator Inspections, shared this in her nomination of Carter: “René has helped many fellow business professionals such as me expand their business by making personal introductions. With these introductions, fellow members have grown their businesses and in turn helped them be successful. She (René Carter) is always so positive. Her connections are sincere, and she truly wants to help all those around her.”
Carter is a tenured member of CREWBaltimore, having joined the group in 2010 when she began working with Unlimited Restoration, Inc. in the Baltimore market. She has served on the Community Outreach Committee since joining the organization and currently leads the Philanthropy sub-committee. René also serves on the Programs Committee, Beacon Awards Gala Committee, and the Committee that plans and executes CREWBaltimore’s annual golf outing which supports the philanthropic efforts of CREWBaltimore.
As she approaches 12 years of active membership in the group, Carter has gained much from her participation in CREWBaltimore, most notably: “Great connections and friendships with amazing women in commercial real estate in Baltimore. I learn so much about what is happening in the area from the panelists and speakers at the luncheons and on the construction tours,” said Carter.
“I highly recommend membership in the organization for anyone interested in meeting and building friendships with accomplished women in the industry. Everyone thinks “CREW first” whenever they need to choose a company to partner with. Members truly want to see other members succeed and do all they can to lift them up,” she added.
Fittingly, one of Carter’s favorite events is their annual Beacon Awards Gala where she will be celebrating on Thursday night. “One of my favorite events was the first Beacon Awards. There was so much excitement in the air at the beautiful Tabrizi’s Restaurant on the water in Baltimore – just a really fun evening celebrating the finalists and anxiously awaiting the announcement of the winners,” said Carter.
